Pulping system area is the beginning of the production process, where the raw material (such as newspaper, corrugated boxes, primary cellulose, etc.) is loaded onto a conveyor for getting into the pulper. After, the pump transfers pulp to the dump chest; then it is cleaned and placed to the storage chest. At this production area, raw materials goes through the stages of technological preparation. At the first stage, the system of special pulp-tanks with agitators and water-pumps grinds and mixes raw materials with water and turns it from a solid into a pulp-like state. Second stage at this area is pulp-cleaning process, which separates plastic, metal and other unwanted particles from the paper pulp.
This area may include:
- raw material feeding,
- pulper,
- chests with agitators,
- consistency controls,
- pulp cleaning devices,
- headbox, etc.
